ABOUT
During the 1980s, Stan refined his musical talents as a member of Bystander, a prominent band in the tribe state area. The band recorded an album of original songs, with Stan contributing to six of the ten tracks. Under the mentorship of producer Tony Bongiovi and drum programmer Jimmy Bralower, Stan honed his songwriting skills and gained valuable experience as a recording engineer.
To focus on becoming a full-time recording artist, Stan founded The New Dogs, a band that included himself on guitars and vocals, along with virtuoso bassist Dave LaRue and drummer Van Romain. The band rapidly amassed a loyal fanbase within the music community and shared the stage with acclaimed acts such as Steve Vai, Kings X, Joe Satriani, and Extreme.
The New Dogs disbanded when LaRue and Romaine joined Steve Morse’s Grammy-winning instrumental music project. Since then, Stan collaborated with drummer Jonathan Mover and keyboardist Jani Mangini of Trans-Siberian Orchestra on a progressive rock album.
Aside from his successful session work, Stan also provides voiceovers for numerous TV and radio commercials. Currently, he devotes his time to composing his unique style of crossover pop, drawing inspiration from The Beatles, Tom Petty, and his neighbor Bruce Springsteen.
To support himself, Stan frequently performs in the tristate area as a solo artist and with his band Between Dreams. His vision for life as a recording and composing artist is clear, and those who attend his shows will undoubtedly appreciate his immense talent.
